week 11 of studio class was about selecting a final category under your discipline and an element to further work on.
However through this process of mind mapping and applying the rule of elimination I came down to poster making as a category and researched about the same in depth.
I assumed poster design to be my element which I will work on but post my one on one discussion with ma’am in our online class I understood that poster design was just a category and I had to branch out and mind map poster design into its further parts, post which I could branch out poster design into various parts such as types of poster design then I went on selecting movie poster design in which I came across types of movie poster design and various genres of films, from which I came down to Bollywood movie poster design and through further mind mapping I could then identify layouts as my element to work with under poster design.
Here is when I understood this process of mind mapping well and I could arrive on layout as my final element. We then had to do a detailed research on our element.
