Week 8 of imaging class first began with our review part 1 where sir reviewed each ones work individually, he gave inputs to everyone and corrections had to be made accordingly, post the corrections we were told the final print of the book had to be given on Monday.
My work was also reviewed I was been told to do a set of corrections like
- I had to change the background colour of my cover pg
- I had to change the font size of my name which was too big on the cover pg, I was told that the authors name is never very or somewhere closer to the book title name , it should always be small.
- I then had to change the all caps in which were areas I had done so
- Then I had to look after the left alignment throughout the book
- I also had different colours on each page of the book which I had to change because it would look very disturbing that each page of a same book having different colours,
- I had toad my pending illustrations and add pg no’s to every page.
- And lastly I was given an input to change the font placement in columns to have a better look and feel.
I got o learn so much during this process, I had never designed a book before right from writing the content to sketching the illustrations and and designing its layout , so this process was new and fun to learn about.
I got to learn so many ethics of writing and designing a book, and how it would look after printing it too.
