Week 7 of imaging class started of with a recap of what we had done so far. Post which it was a working class where each one of us had to sit and complete our work for our upcoming project.
We had to design and print a story book based on the 6 stories that we had written in our seminar class project, we had to design the entire layout in the indesign software give styles to it, add sketches regarding our stories from the ones we did in our studio class and apply all that we had learnt so far in Adobe Indesign had to be applied and we had to print the final designed pages, and bind it like a book.
We were given certain criteria’s that had to be followed such as:
- The final book print would be in A5 size
- The body text font had to be in size 10 and the titles in size 12-14
- It was compulsory that each story had to be supported with an illustration.
- We had a list of fonts given, which only any of those could be used throughout the book
- We had to have an interesting layout and each page should have styles applied.
With these instructions we were told to design our books .
