Week 5 of objects as history was about the Greek civilization / ancient Greece:
We first discussed about the 2 empires
- Roman empire
- Greek empire
-We discussed about the orienthen pillars, the various forms and types in those
– we saw the amphitheatres which were a mode of story telling, which was a symbol of entertainment, culture, the amphitheatres represented their scale of build,
- We saw more about the Greek pottery, sculptures, and various structures and their significance.
The second half of the class was then about showing a reviewing our process work for the time line project, we showed how much we had researched about, after which we got a clearer idea of what we could do further.
