week 12 of imaging class was about showing maam story boards of our zines.
my zine was about Bollywood in which I chose Baburao character from the famous Bollywood movie Phir hera Pheri where he in different timelines bollywood’s superhit movie, playing the character of that movie with the same costumes but delivering the dialogue in his very own style.
Eg: Baburao in the movie Krrish playing Hritik roshans role wearing the same costume but delivering the dialogue in his style.
We had to show our story board zine just like a mock -up of our final one, which we made in our drawing class, which gave an idea as to how my final zine would look, showing the sketches, dialogues as well as layouts.
We then had to show maam individually and get her inputs, and we had to now digitally start working on our zine and replicating our exact same physical zine.
This project t o work on digitally was tough yet interesting.
And I was interested to take up this challenge.
We step by step started working by:
– image tracing the characters on illustrator, a few on photoshop and
– then I was laying out the sheet in such a manner that I could place the characters, dialogues, movie title and add all effects.
– I then started with designing the cover page and then continued further with the characters.
It was a long process but had to be done with patience and efforts.
