Design Drawing13: 8.11.19- Jai Ranjit

Week 13 of drawing class was about further progressing towards the story boarding of our zine.

Our next step after rough sketches and thumbnails was story boarding , where  we had to make a complete rough zine in pencil explaining the layout, explaining how many pages will be there and what will be there on each page, to understand the dialogues, characters and their placements.

As I was proceeding further, I understood although I like my topic but my entire zine is about characters , human figures, and the skill I lack the most and am very weak is drawing human figures and postures with expression.

I began to loose hope and think negative as to will  I be able to make this zine and complete further.

After consulting sir he explained how its just the beginning and it need not be perfect but needs to be my work with full efforts, also I didn’t really want picture perfect humans but actors in caricatures.

Hence I could continue further. I learnt how important it is to learn something new and do something out of your comfort zone.

I could then make a complete storyboard for my zine.

Our next step was to review  it further and then work towards making final one on a good quality paper with, colour and completeness.
