Week 12 of seminar class was about our second visit to Dadar market and Kabootar khana . Where this time we had to do more than just observations and clicking pictures.
We had to interview the local people in our next visit hence we had to observe and frame a set of few unique, different and unusual questions which we would interview the local people in our next visit and know more about the place.
We needed to frame questions which gave us interesting facts and information about the place. Questions which we were curious to know about.
The questions we framed as a group:
1)how important is the kabootar khana for the local people of Dadar?
2) Is there any religious belief to the kabootar khana?
3) who all visit the kabootar khana?
4) how often do people visit that place?
5) what do they feed to the birds?
6) who funds or provides these grains or feed for the birds?
7) is there a specific time when the birds come and go ?
8)who looks after the cleanliness and maintainance of the place?
9) is it disturbing for the local residents of that place ? do they want the kabootar khana to be shut?
10) more details about the profession of the people who stay there and look after the kabootar khana?
11) do they willingly work for that place? Are they paid for the same?
12)what are the strange beliefs or myths about the place?
13)is there a specific way the birds assemble or go away?
These are the framed questions to interview the people. We had to crosscheck and confirm the 7 best out of these from maam.
