The 6^th class of mindlines was about the second part of garments .

Where maam taught us about how sleeves work.

SLEEVES:

The different types and length of sleves are illustrated.

1. We first learnt about tight sleeves and how they fit and how they are sketched.
2. Then we learnt about volume and balloon sleves
3. We  then learnt how full , 3/4^th and sleves till elbow are illustrated

Keeping it mind the gathering of sleeves and its curves.

PLEATS: associated with skirts

We then were taught about how pletes are depicted , how ruffles work and types of pletes

We learnt about sweep, pleats,folds, ruffles and a sweep pattern seen in skirts are illustrated with a horizontal line across.

Types of pleats:

1. Knife pleats
2. Box pleats
3. Natural, circular skirt fall

Towards the end of the class ma’am illustrated a complete human model and showed how the skirts will be illustrated with the change in body posture and pleats.
